Hello Everyone,
I am very happy to say that I finished my book last night. : ) It was late, I was tired and cranky but... I did finish. : ) So happy to finally be done with the first part of the series. But now moving from one character to the other is getting difficult. I have a 2nd and 3rd book outlined for this character but cannot get a 1st book to come to mind, unfortunately I can't make the 2nd the 1st... (if that made any sense.) : ) because you have to already know her story BEFORE the 2nd. : ) Wow, I'm confusing myself on that one. : ) So.... I ave nooo idea what I am going to do. : ) My mom suggested I take the day off and give my brain a break, but with school and outside chores I like to do most of my writing on weekends. : ( Ah... the joys of writing. : )
On a different note... the weather is still sickly cold, but that means more time indoors. : )
Hope you all stay warm and have a great day. : )

Freezing cold.... : )
Good Evening,
Well the last few days it has stayed below 15 degrees, even in the middle of the day it is freezing. : ( Everyone is staying indoors. : ) I am actually glad for the cold, good excuse to stay in the house and work on my book, which is going very well. : ) I actually think I will finish it tonight, I am estimating 20 pages left to write. I am getting very excited about this, I love finishing a book, it gives me a over whelming sense of completion. : ) Which is a great feeling.
After I finish this one I will continue writing through the winter, I have my next book pretty well out lined, it will be shorter then the one I am working on now so I am hoping I can finish it in 2 to 3 days. : ) We'll see!
Tonight we are expecting snow. : ( Brrrrr..... and below () temps. So stay warm everyone, and enjoy your evening! : ) God Bless,
Josie

My Compassion Family!
Good Evening Friends!
So today I got on my account on Compassion and had a beautiful and wonderful surprise waiting for me! : ) They have added a new member to my Compassion family. Since I will be talking about these precious girls a lot on here I thought I should probably go ahead and introduce you to them. : ) So here is my family! : )
Jhannethis 15 and lives in Bolivia, I sponsored her in October 2012 when she and I had JUST turned 14. We have exchanged lots of letters and have a very sweet friendship.
I added April Joy in April of 2013, she is 5 and lives in Philippines, I am really looking forward to writing her for hopefully 13 + years. It could go up to 17, depending on when she graduates. : ) I have a good feeling by then she and I will be very close! ; )
Jharna came into my life in a very different way then the others, she is 14 and from East India. I saw her packet at a girl conference and honestly thought "oh she's cute" I was eying a younger girl but knew I didn't have the money to sponsor a third child. So I enjoyed the conference and went home and forgot about the packets. One night (almost 10pm) I was laying there and suddenly KNEW that I had to sponsor Jharna, I called my friend (yes it was late) and said I had to sponsor her. So w met the next day and I filled out the form and sent it in! : ) Very spur of the moment and on a whim but... I know that it was Gods plan for me and her to come together. : ) I haven't gotten many letters from her but I know that our relationship will continue to blossom in the several years of sponsoring we have together. : )
Now... the correspondent girls... I knew I wanted to add more to my family, so honestly I was thinking I'll get two or three to write to along with my girls...
But 1, 2, 3, 4... here they are,
Talefe is 13 and from Ethiopia, Yetinayet, is also from Ethiopia, she is 14 and Dibora is 13 and ALSO from Ethiopia. : ) They were all added November 18th and 19th. Then just today I found Nimsi. She si 12 and from Bolivia. : ) Since I just got then in the last few weeks I haven't heard from any of them yet, but I wrote to them and am very excited about hearing from them. (hopefully soon).
So this is my Compassion Family, but I am open to any that Compassion assigns me at this point. : ) I can't wait to add financially sponsored children to my family, like I've said before I want to end up sponsoring one in each of the 26 country's Compassion works. : )
Have a great night, and may God bless you!

Friends/Gifts from our great God
Hello Everyone,
So I am heading to piano soon but since I wil mostly be posting from the library computer I wanted to touchin.
The book I am working on is going great, I am not finished, but it is going good and I think I'll finish in the next few days. I was trying to think of names for all these books I am wanting to write, but I can't think of anything. I'll have to call on my best friend again.
I happen to have the best friend I think one could have. This dear friend and sister in Christ has always been there for me. I love spending time with her, as most people do with friends. But what I love most is the relationship, at any time I know I can call her ask her for favors (which I very recently did) or just gush and pour everything on my mind to her, while all the time she listens and encourages.
She reflects God in every area of her life. I happen to be the kind of person that gets carried away with my imagination, I get on a subject and take off and sometimes forget that I need to be more level headed and just let God work, she never fails to bring me back to the truth, that I do need to let God work and be patient.
Lord, thank you for giving us friends, people who have touched our lives and blessed us in so many ways. You are a great and powerful God yet you show such love for us by placing these gentle and encouraging people in our lives.
Well I'm off to piano, hope you all have a very wonderful day. Remember to thank God for our precious friends.
Josie

About me! My UnOrdinaryLife!
Hello, My name is Josie Turner, a couple weeks ago I decided to start a blog, mainly to share my walk with Christ. I've grown up in a Christian home, I'm home schooled and have just felt my whole life that my life was boring and ordinary. Well I was thinking about how blessed I am on Thanksgiving Day and suddenly realized something. My life is far from Ordinary, I have Christ living in me. Everyday I have to surrender to a Greater Power, I submit to the King in my life. Something about that doesn't seem Ordinary. So with that in mind I'm starting this blog.
A little about me. I love outdoors, riding horses, hiking, and riding dirt bikes are some of my favorite activities. I live on a small farm, we have horses, cows, dogs, chickens, and barn cats. : )
I sponsor three girls through Compassion International, and correspond with three others. I advocate with Compassion and encourage anyone and everyone to sponsor! My favorite Forum is Our Compassion. Where I feel more at home then anywhere else.
My dream is to financially sponsor 50 girls, no not at the same time! I also want to make sure I sponsor in each of the 26 country's Compassion works!
One of my developing hobbies is writing, I've written and finished two books, I'm working on my third book now, I'm hoping to finish tomorrow! I have a computer on the way, brand new to me, to aid in my editing and writing!
I love reading, and (for the first time) reading the Bible from cover to cover. I'm excited about this and eager to see what God shows me in this time!
I hope that by sharing about my UnOrdinaryLife you will be encouraged and challenged to draw closer to our Lord. Welcome and thanks for reading!
Blessings,
Josie Turner
